Why paper dockets keep causing disputes
A docket book records that a delivery happened. It rarely records what was actually accepted. When the load is short by four bags, or a drum arrives damaged, the note is written in a hurry, if at all, and the office finds out when the customer queries the invoice weeks later.
Electronic proof of delivery closes that gap by making the exception part of the normal flow. The driver enters what was accepted, picks a reason for the difference and takes a photo. The record is complete before anyone leaves the site.

Common questions
What is a digital delivery docket?
A digital delivery docket is the electronic version of the paper docket a driver would hand over. In SignedPOD it is a structured record: the products and quantities, anything short or damaged, batch details where relevant, photos, the receiver's name and signature, and the time and place of confirmation.
How is digital proof of delivery better than photographing the docket?
A photo is an image. You cannot search it, total it or report on it. A digital POD record stores each fact separately, so the office can search by customer or site, see every exception recorded this month, and answer a query in seconds.
Does the receiver need an app?
No. The receiver confirms and signs on the driver's phone. There is nothing for the farm or site to install.
