Yes. Batch or lot numbers and expiry dates are captured against the product line at the point of delivery, alongside the quantity accepted, so the two facts stay together on the same record.
No software can promise compliance. SignedPOD helps you capture consistent delivery records, including batch details and exceptions. Deciding whether those records meet the obligations that apply to your business is your call, ideally with your own adviser.
The driver records the quantity actually accepted and a reason for the difference. Any remaining quantity can be carried into a linked follow-up delivery so the outstanding amount stays visible to the office.
The driver can record who accepted the load, or note that nobody was available, and support it with photo evidence of where the goods were left.
