Can SignedPOD record batch and lot numbers on a delivery?
Yes. Batch or lot numbers and expiry dates are captured against the product line at the point of delivery, alongside the quantity accepted, so the two facts stay together on the same record.
Does this make our chemical deliveries compliant?
No software can promise compliance. SignedPOD helps you capture consistent delivery records, including batch details and exceptions. Deciding whether those records meet the obligations that apply to your business is your call, ideally with your own adviser.
How are part-loads and shortages handled on a farm delivery?
The driver records the quantity actually accepted and a reason for the difference. Any remaining quantity can be carried into a linked follow-up delivery so the outstanding amount stays visible to the office.
What about deliveries where nobody is at the shed?
The driver can record who accepted the load, or note that nobody was available, and support it with photo evidence of where the goods were left.
